Virtual Reality is one of the great advances in the field of architecture during project presentations, the owner is no longer facing a screen or plans but participates in the life of the project by being inside. The subject is immersed in the projected content at 360°. Virtual Reality makes design more efficient, gives a quick way to improve the design of the office.
Our office is currently equipped with a Cosmos Elite VR Headset from the French brand VIVE to allow our clients to visit their future boat as if they were there, to walk around the deck and discover the interior of their project.
The helmet is connected to a 3D software that projects the image inside to allow the shipowner to be immersed. We use it internally to easily validate the dimensions of a hatch, the ergonomics of a staircase, the visibility from the helm for example, in order to improve the relevance of our proposals and the accuracy of our designs.
VR allows us to make precise modifications to the plans because everything happens at human height. It is an experience that allows the owner to feel involved in his project, the aim being to involve the future owner in the construction process, so that he is concerned with his boat and can put his “touch” and his ideas into the configurations that we are able to modify and rethink together
