THE ONARIUS 52′: THE CHALLENGE OF AMATEUR CONSTRUCTION SERVING INNOVATION

We are proud to announce the completion of the Onarius 52′, an exceptional aluminum sailboat, fully designed and built by a sea enthusiast and professional welder. After years of hard work, starting in 2016, this innovative project has just emerged from its workshop and is preparing to set sail by mid-December. It is a true pleasure to have followed the development of this project and to finally witness its realization.

Indeed, the Onarius, a custom-built 52′ sailboat, represents a true revolution in modern sailboat design. To offer exceptional visibility from the helm and simplify the circulation between the interior and exterior, we reversed the cockpit and the superstructures.

Furthermore, this model was designed to offer a completely new level of ergonomics and reimagined movement on board, drawing inspiration from ancient caravels while integrating contemporary solutions. Thus, the Onarius stands out with a harmonious balance between tradition and innovation.

Additionally, the boat, fully constructed in aluminum, is a keelboat that will primarily be used in Polynesian waters.
