The VLYD team wanted to combine respect for the heritage of the old Pénichettes with the integration of contemporary elements that blend perfectly with the landscape. Indeed, with its touches of exterior wood and softened upholstery, the Pénichette Neo® stands out while remaining true to the Locaboat identity.
Innovative design of the Pénichette Neo®: Comfort and aesthetics
Unlike some previous models, the Pénichette Neo® has no white gel coat or stainless steel fittings. Its innovation focuses primarily on navigation, everyday comfort and aesthetics. What’s more, the bow and stern thrusters guarantee smooth sailing, while the ergonomic cockpit ensures optimum comfort for the driver.
The flybridge
has been designed as the real main berth, with a removable seat for the helmsman, promoting conviviality when out at sea. This allows passengers to fully enjoy the sailing experience while remaining close to the helmsman.

The Pénichette Neo® has been designed with user-friendliness and optimised habitability in mind. In fact, comfort in use has been carefully designed, with the integration of relaxation areas and various seating points to encourage contemplation. All of these elements have been designed to make navigation accessible to all passengers.
All the interior and exterior features have been designed in close collaboration with RealNum and NC Design, with the aim of making the river cruising experience a memorable one.
